💼 About This Role

You'll assist the Head of Investments (Asia) to develop and raise capital for the investment strategy in Asia, more specifically in Japan. You'll originate and screen new investment opportunities and manage the investment portfolio. This is a great opportunity for a senior professional with experience in renewable energy asset management to join a fast-growing team based out of Tokyo.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Assist the Head of Investments (Asia) to develop and raise capital for investment strategy in Japan
• Originate and screen new investment opportunities in Asia, specifically Japan
• Manage the investment portfolio and liaise with HQ team in London
• Mentor junior colleagues in Singapore and UK

📋 Requirements

• PE/M&A/advisory experience in APAC with reputed institutions
• Strong experience in deal screening and financial modelling
• Strong deal origination network within Asia
• Strong fluency in English and business level fluency in Japanese

✨ Nice to Have

• Understanding of renewables and/or infrastructure asset classes
• Understanding of investor preferences and ability to contribute technical & operational knowledge
• Knowledge of local markets in Asia especially Japan, development, construction risk underwriting processes
