You'll shape daily newscasts for a TEGNA-owned ABC/CW affiliate in Des Moines, building creative shows that engage and inform. Your core impact will drive original storytelling and investigative journalism to set our product apart in the market. You'll have access to modern tools and workflows as TEGNA continues to drive innovation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Pitch compelling stories using natural curiosity
• Craft stories of all lengths on all platforms
• Combine live pictures, graphics, and video for engaging experiences
• Use data analytics to shape show content

📋 Requirements

• 0-1 years of news content experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Solid journalistic judgement and emphasis on accurate local content
• Skills in producing engaging, content-driven newscasts
