💼 About This Role

You'll join the VEN Policy Platform team to build C++ system services for the Illumio Virtual Enforcement Node, a software agent that enforces micro-segmentation security policies inside application workloads. Your code will protect customers' critical systems across Unix, Windows, and MacOS.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build C++ system services for the Virtual Enforcement Node
• Develop lightweight software agent for micro-segmentation security
• Implement features from concept through design and development
• Collaborate with a team of engineers on distributed systems

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years building distributed & scalable software systems
• Proficiency in C++
• Familiarity with networking at application level
• Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with iptables, nftables, or packet filter
• Familiarity with BPF/eBPF
