💼 About This Role

You'll act as a force multiplier at Thinkific, a learning commerce platform, making our engineering team better by advocating for best practices and leveling up skills. You'll own the technical architecture and roadmap for strategic domains, bridging business and technical strategy to ensure impact. You'll also contribute to the engineering blog, give conference talks, and influence engineering culture inside and outside the organization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own architecture and technical decisions for strategic domains.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to develop roadmaps and break down tasks.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers to follow technical vision.
• Write and review technical documentation; sponsor others to do the same.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the engineering profession.
• 3+ years in a staff engineering role.
• Experience leading multiple teams (20+ engineers).
• Expert-level knowledge of software design and architecture.
