💼 About This Role

You'll build and operate the security risk management program for Veeam's cloud-native SaaS platform running on Microsoft Azure. Your work will turn raw security findings into business-relevant risk stories that guide investment decisions. This role offers the opportunity to shape risk strategy for a leading data resilience company protecting over 550,000 customers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and operate formal security risk management process for Veeam Data Cloud.
• Own and maintain VDC Security risk register with clear definitions and scoring.
• Aggregate findings from multiple sources into coherent risk mitigation initiatives.
• Prepare quarterly executive risk reporting for VP, CTO, and President of VDC.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in security risk management or governance within cloud/SaaS.
• Hands-on experience building risk registers and assessment processes.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and modern identity platforms.
• Proficiency with Jira and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Experience partnering with a central or corporate security team (e.g., GIS).
• Familiarity with common risk frameworks like ISO 27005, NIST SP 800-30, or FAIR.
• Relevant security, cloud, or risk certifications.
