You will use your deep expertise in German linguistics to train advanced language models, challenging them on grammar, syntax, and semantics to document failure modes and improve AI reasoning. This role focuses on generating high-quality training data to enhance AI's understanding of the German language.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in German language, linguistics, or closely related field
• Peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or hands-on linguistic analysis projects
• Clear, metacognitive communication skills
• Supply own secure computer and high-speed internet
• Expertise in German verb conjugation, case system, word order, declensions, gender, and stylistic variation

Responsibilities

• Converse with AI models on German language scenarios
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model responses
• Capture reproducible error traces and document failure modes
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
• Analyze German grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics
