Description

You will facilitate online learning modules by moderating discussions, conducting weekly live sessions, grading assignments with meaningful feedback, and offering periodic office hours. This role requires deep familiarity with module content to enrich student learning and adherence to ALU's safeguarding and accreditation policies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in higher education, executive education, and/or relevant other sectors.
• Credible educational and experiential knowledge in the subject areas relevant to assigned modules.
• Experience in online learning either as a student or facilitator.
• Exceptional English communication skills.
• Superior problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• African centered knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily logins to the module to address questions, post announcements, and moderate asynchronous discussions.
• Conducting weekly live sessions for the cohort of students.
• Grading all submitted formative assignments within a few days and providing meaningful feedback.
• Grading all submitted summative assignments by the provided deadline.
• Offering periodic optional drop-in office hours.
• Adhering to module designs and ALU's accreditation guidelines.
• Preparing additional resources and insights to enrich student learning.
• Ensuring safety and well-being of all young persons and vulnerable adults.
