Description

You will execute accounting closing flows, optimize processes through automation, and collaborate with data and product teams to design financial processes. Your work will improve efficiency and scalability while contributing to the preparation of financial statements for Nubank's products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• Advanced English proficiency
• Knowledge and experience in IFRS, especially IFRS 9 (Financial Instruments)
• Experience with banking products such as credit cards, lending, or financial instruments
• Analytical skills and strategic planning capabilities

Responsibilities

• Develop continuous improvement actions for controllership team to standardize processes and drive automation
• Analyze and map existing processes to identify automation opportunities using available tools
• Collaborate with data and product teams to design financial processes and optimize information storage for accounting routines
• Maintain core products by analyzing unexpected behaviors, bugs, and complex databases
• Improve accounting closing process by seeking automation and control opportunities
