Description

You will bridge product design and mass production, developing and validating manufacturing processes for humanoid robots. You'll champion design for manufacturability, lead root-cause analysis, and manage the technical hand-off to production to ensure scalable, high-quality assembly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
  • 8+ years of process development/NPI in high-volume or complex hardware environments
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks or Nx) for fixture design
  • Command of SPC, DOE, and Root Cause Analysis (8D or 5-Whys)
  • Foundational knowledge of ERP and PLM workflows

Responsibilities

  • Define and qualify manufacturing processes to meet yield and throughput targets
  • Lead DFM/DFA reviews with R&D using PFMEA to mitigate technical risks
  • Design, procure, and validate custom assembly fixtures and tooling
  • Manage NPI transition: troubleshoot pilot runs, resolve material issues, qualify contract manufacturers
  • Approve ECOs/MCOs in PLM workflow to ensure production readiness
