💼 About This Role

You'll oversee compliance initiatives and management systems for Toast's Retail and Payments business lines, reporting to the Senior Manager of Payments Retail Compliance. You'll ensure alignment with industry regulations, card network rules, and internal risk policies. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can navigate ambiguity and collaborate cross-functionally to mitigate risk.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute compliance management processes for network and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and communicate status, risks, and next steps across workstreams.
• Track and assess new regulations across Payments and Retail.
• Research compliance risks for retail merchants and high-risk categories.
• Collaborate with teams to develop compliance policies and controls.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in compliance, risk management, or payment processing.
• Familiarity with card network rules (Visa, Mastercard) and regulatory frameworks (FinCEN, OFAC).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
