Description

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on solar power plants and substation equipment near New Brunswick, New Jersey. Your work ensures the reliable operation of solar energy sites through troubleshooting, testing, and documentation while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years commercial/industrial solar O&M experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with inverters, tracker systems, or substation equipment (TMEIC, SMA, Sungrow, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying temperatures
• Live within 50 miles of New Brunswick, New Jersey

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on solar utility and substation equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical components using digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps
• Test and troubleshoot installed solar equipment for proper operation
• Document work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency schedules
• Follow Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) safety procedures
