Description

You will own the success of mechanical structures and mechanisms for satellites, leading designs from concept through qualification to on-orbit operations. In your first two years, you will fly your hardware in space while supporting production and integration.

Requirements

• Experience with mechanical structures and mechanisms for spacecraft
• Ability to lead design reviews
• Experience with prototype iterations and flight hardware qualification
• Background in high-power satellite platforms
• Motivated to work in fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

• Take hardware and mechanisms from conceptual design through qualification to on-orbit operations
• Lead design reviews from kickoff through qualification
• Define mechanical requirements and create initial concepts and trades
• Perform preliminary and detailed analysis
• Define development test campaigns and produce development hardware
