💼 About This Role

You'll partner with sales teams to drive pre-sales efforts for Upbound's Intelligent Control Plane across North America. You'll build technical relationships with customers, delivering demos and guiding them through the buying journey. This role offers the chance to shape a growing product-led sales process at a Series B company backed by GV.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Partner with Sales Account Executive for technical customer discussions.
  • Create and deliver high-fidelity presentations, demos, and sample solutions.
  • Guide customers to design and build Crossplane and Upbound Cloud architectures.
  • Collect detailed customer requirements for product and engineering.

📋 Requirements

  • Pre-sales or consulting experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience guiding customers through Kubernetes deployment to production.
  • Deep understanding of highly scaled services across multiple cloud providers.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues with customers or open source communities.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Contributions to the upstream Kubernetes community.
  • History of speaking at conferences or writing technical articles.
  • Experience working in a startup and distributed remote team.
