Description

Lead the development of QuiX Quantum's photonic hardware platform, owning the end-to-end stack from design to production. You'll mentor a multidisciplinary team, drive platform and PDK development, manage foundry relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Requirements

• PhD in Integrated Photonics, Microelectronics, Applied Physics or related field
• 5+ years hands-on experience in integrated photonics design and development
• Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams
• Track record of taking PIC designs through full fabrication cycles with industrial foundries
• Strong understanding of optical, electrical, and thermal co-design

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a multidisciplinary integrated photonics team
• Own end-to-end photonic hardware stack including circuits, ASICs, detectors, packaging, characterization
• Drive platform and PDK development focusing on fabrication-robust design and tolerance analysis
• Manage foundry relationships (wafer-run planning, process splits, PCM/DCM, mask sign-off)
• Support assembly, packaging, hybrid photonic-electronic integration
