💼 About This Role

You'll design, build, and operate the platform and backend systems powering Rubrik's internal AI enablement. You'll own Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure end-to-end, and partner with Product, AI, and Security teams. This role offers high autonomy and a chance to make Rubrik more efficient one AI-powered workflow at a time.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of major platform initiatives from design through deployment.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, networking, operators, and multi-tenant orchestration.
• Design and optimize distributed services and cloud-native infrastructure on AWS/GCP.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, automation, and CI/CD best practices.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering with deep backend and infrastructure focus.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go — production code, not just scripts.
• Deep, hands-on Kubernetes experience — building and operating clusters.
• Proven experience designing and operating distributed systems in production.

✨ Nice to Have

• Observability stacks — Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry.
• Multi-cloud or hybrid infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, on-prem).
• Service mesh or platform-as-a-service design experience.
