Description

You will lead the design and development of enhancements to Oscar's next-generation claims and payment processing systems, working on contract and pricing configuration, system extensibility through an internally developed DSL, and data pipeline architecture. You'll selectively apply AI to solve hard problems and build scalable, reliable systems that ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience as a leader of cross-pod or cross-company deliverables
• 5+ years of experience leading technical contributions and improving team quality
• 5+ years of experience with practical application of CS concepts
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams including mentoring junior engineers

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on business and technical domains
• Lead planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams
• Work with partners, product managers, and designers to solve challenging problems
• Lead and mentor engineers to improve technology and apply best practices
• Guide development of Service-Level Objectives (SLOs) for systems
