Description

You will provide technical expertise and assist in implementing environmental, health, and safety programs at the Starship rocket development test site. Working closely with test engineers and technician teams, you will perform detailed safety reviews of complex hazardous operations and lead incident investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience in environmental, health and safety disciplines
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH regulations
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee per ITAR

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed safety reviews of complex hazardous operations
• Lead or assist in incident investigations including root cause analysis and corrective action
• Develop and maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH and other regulations
• Implement safety and health programs (HAZCOM, confined space, fall protection, etc.)
• Implement environmental programs (SPCC, SWPPP, Title V air permitting, hazardous waste management)
