💼 About This Role

You'll lead sourcing strategies for raw proteins, packaging, and merchandise at a mission-driven cat food company. You'll negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and ensure supply chain resilience. This is a fully remote role with a 4-day work week.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw proteins, packaging, and merchandise.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost and quality goals.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues to ensure supply continuity.
• Collaborate with S&OP, R&D, and Finance teams on product launches and budgets.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in procurement leadership across complex or global categories.
• Deep understanding of global protein and meat markets and pricing dynamics.
• Experience with perishable products including shelf life and food safety.
• Strong analytical skills using G-Suite tools for cost analysis and RFPs.
