Description

As an intern, you'll tackle challenging problems at the intersection of finance, technology, and data, contributing to projects like the Stripe Assistant and Foundation Model. You'll develop and deploy large-scale ML systems that drive significant business value across risk, payments, and support.

Requirements

• Pursuing PhD in CS, ML, or related field, graduating winter 2026 or spring/summer 2027
• Practical ML and programming experience (Python, Scala, Spark, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
• Expertise in supervised/unsupervised learning, ML ops, or LLMs/RL
• Ability to work collaboratively and incorporate feedback
• Proactive learning of unfamiliar systems

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy large-scale machine learning systems driving business value
• Design, train, improve, and launch machine learning models end-to-end
• Write production-scale ML models for economic infrastructure access
• Collaborate across teams and proactively solve challenges
• Rapidly learn new technologies and communicate project status
