💼 About This Role

You'll create reliable Android components using Jetpack Compose for Waymo's in-car interface, building features that inspire trust and communicate vehicle intentions. You'll work closely with UX, Product, and Vehicle Software teams to launch innovative in-car experiences.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create reliable Android components using Jetpack Compose.
• Build features for the in-car interface that inspire trust.
• Collaborate with UX designers, PMs, and Vehicle Software Engineers.
• Design and maintain software for in-car systems like displays and audio.

📋 Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development.
• 3+ years of Android application development including testing and launching features.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java and strong Android internals understanding.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Android platform (AOSP) development or custom builds.
• Knowledge of in-car infotainment systems or automotive software.
• Full-stack experience including server-side API integration.
