Description

You will develop and integrate platform operating systems, I/O FPGA drivers, video/graphics processing, middleware services, and perform system integration for safety-critical avionics systems on cutting-edge projects.

Requirements

• U.S. citizen or US Person
• Experience with real-time operating systems (VxWorks, LynxOS)
• Experience with FPGA device driver development
• Experience with avionics interfaces (MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC 429)
• Experience with video/graphics processing and related standards

Responsibilities

• Support VxWorks 653 and LynxOS-178 guest operating systems in partitioned, multi-core environments
• Develop device drivers for Avionics I/O and Module Manager FPGAs (MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC 429, RS-422/485, GPIO)
• Integrate MerVE3 FPGA-based video processing and merge functionality (ARINC 661, ARINC 818, SDI, DisplayPort)
• Maintain I/O server frameworks, deterministic networking, and secure NVMe file systems
• Perform hardware/software bring-up on OpenVPX platforms and system-level debugging
