Description

As Legal Counsel for Product & Technology, you'll partner with Product and Engineering teams to provide end-to-end legal support across the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch. You'll translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable guidance, draft and negotiate key agreements, and build scalable legal processes to enable fast, compliant product development in a global, remote-first environment.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree; qualified to practice in China or a major common-law jurisdiction
• 5-8+ years of legal experience, including 3+ years in-house at a technology company
• Deep knowledge of Chinese and international data privacy regulations
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology and commercial agreements
• Fluency in English and Mandarin

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to provide end-to-end legal support across the product lifecycle
• Draft and negotiate terms of service, licensing, and commercial agreements
• Translate privacy, data protection, and IP requirements into actionable guidance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, Compliance, Risk, and Policy teams globally
• Develop and improve internal policies, templates, and workflows for scalable legal processes
