Description

Oversee the accounting functions for a portfolio of real estate assets, ensuring accurate financial reporting and managing a team of property accountants. You will coordinate with property managers, drive process improvements, and support audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (Master's preferred)
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• 5+ years of real estate with commercial property accounting experience preferred
• GAAP experience required
• High proficiency in Excel, MRI and/or Yardi preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Work with property managers to ensure consistency and effectiveness in operations reporting
• Review monthly reporting packages for institutional owners and asset managers
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits
