Description

You will oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and financial accuracy within SAP, focusing on Material Ledger and actual costing processes. You'll lead requirements gathering, design solutions, and drive process improvements while managing a team and mentoring junior members. This role ensures compliant cost flows and supports period-end close activities for federal government clients.

Requirements

• 7 + years SAP ECC Controlling experience
• SAP Finance subject matter expertise in end-to-end Product Costing processes including Material Ledger functionality with integration points with other modules such as Project Systems, Payroll, Materials Management and Finance
• Knowledge of CO functionality, including Internal Order, Cost Center Accounting, Assessment, Distribution, Cost Transfer etc.
• US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
• Eligibility to obtain a government Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to gather requirements and design solutions to meet these requirements
• Analyze and design new business processes to create the documentation that guides the implementation of new processes and technologies
• Partner with the business to define product requirements and use cases to meet process and functional requirements
• Facilitate interaction with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet all functional requirements
• Develop test strategies and manage large complex test efforts
• Business process design and system analysis
• Coordinate and manage across architects, developers, technical services (i.e. BASIS, Middleware, Portal) and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities
• Maintenance, enhancement and/or development of SAP modules, including interfacing with other applications
• Budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning
• Manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members
