Description

You will design and maintain secure network infrastructure supporting advanced defense technology systems, leading architecture initiatives across multiple facilities while ensuring compliance with government security standards such as NIST 800-171 and FIPS.

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment including Meraki
• Expertise in network security architecture: VLANs, DMZs, segmentation, multi-layered controls
• Working knowledge of NIST 800-171, FIPS, and defense industry security requirements
• Proven experience managing multi-site connectivity with VPN, redundant ISPs, and disaster recovery
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field with CCNA or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network architectures across multiple facilities with NIST 800-171 and FIPS compliance
• Serve as primary escalation point for network incidents, providing expert-level troubleshooting
• Manage multi-site connectivity: site-to-site VPN, redundant ISPs, disaster recovery for classified and unclassified environments
• Configure and optimize Cisco Meraki infrastructure, wireless networks, and network segmentation
• Lead migration from traditional networking to SDN architectures with zero downtime
