You'll process FOIA requests for a large federal agency, ensuring compliance with FOIA exemptions and negotiating with requesters. Your work will directly impact government transparency by managing the release of records. You'll join a team dedicated to innovating government processes through technology and collaboration.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Receive and analyze new and backlogged FOIA requests
• Draft response letters and FOIA correspondence
• Coordinate searches for responsive documents
• Review records for responsiveness and release determinations

📋 Requirements

• 3 years of experience processing FOIA requests
• Knowledge of FOIA exemptions b(4), b(5), and b(6)
• Experience redacting records with trade secrets
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior federal government experience
• Experience with FOIA EXPRESS
• Active security clearance
