💼 About This Role

You'll work on general-purpose foundation models for dexterous robot manipulation, using generative AI to produce robot actions. You will create working code prototypes and run experiments on both simulated and real robots. This internship is part of a world-class team advancing AI and robotics at Toyota Research Institute.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create working code prototypes for robot learning
• Run experiments with simulated and real robots
• Participate in publishing research at peer-reviewed venues

📋 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Ph.D. or M.S. in Robotics, CS, or related field
• Publication record at top-tier robotics/ML conferences
• Experience with machine learning and large datasets
• Strong software development skills in Python

✨ Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with behavior cloning or reinforcement learning
• Experience with C++
• System integration skills with ML tools
