💼 About This Role

You'll join the initial buildout of Voleon Securities, applying state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques to market making and financial prediction. Your work will span from basic research to productizing solutions and validating them in live trading. You'll collaborate with internationally recognized AI/ML experts.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and optimize models governing trading strategy
• Prepare and analyze new datasets for predictive efficacy
• Develop, validate, and implement new models into production
• Design experiments to improve simulations and evaluate new models

📋 Requirements

• 5-10+ years of related research experience
• Expertise in modern statistical methods and machine learning
• Experience with optimal control, deep RL, deep learning, or causal inference
• Strong software development skills in Python and/or R

✨ Nice to Have

• Ph.D. in a relevant field
• Publication record in top-tier venues
• Prior finance industry experience
