💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the primary financial architect for global Operations and R&D organizations at 10x Genomics. You'll drive financial strategy across the entire product lifecycle, managing $450M+ in annual spend. This role offers deep immersion in the business, with time on the manufacturing floor and in labs.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Serve as financial partner to CSO, CTO, and Chief of Global Operations
• Own end-to-end standard costing and drive gross margin expansion
• Lead production planning, capex forecasting, and global supply chain partnerships
• Build and develop a world-class FP&A team

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership
• Deep cost accounting expertise in a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing $300M+ budgets across COGS, R&D, inventory, and capex
• Strong command of US GAAP for manufacturing (standard costing, absorption, ASC 606)

• MBA or graduate degree in a quantitative discipline
• Background or genuine interest in life sciences
• Data analytics skills (Tableau, Power Pivot, SQL, R, Python, etc.)
