Description

You will develop an end-to-end data integration and traceability system connecting battery production, test, and deployment data across the full hardware lifecycle at AST SpaceMobile. You'll build software tools and data pipelines to consolidate information from multiple sources, enabling traceability from satellite systems down to individual battery cells, and support manufacturing quality assurance and fleet reliability.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Hands-on programming experience in Python
• Experience with relational databases (SQL or similar)
• Experience manipulating structured or semi-structured datasets
• Exposure to data cleaning, ETL processes, or analytics workflows

Responsibilities

• Develop scripts and data pipelines to extract information from multiple databases
• Clean, normalize, and structure large datasets from heterogeneous sources
• Design and implement a centralized data schema linking cells, battery packs, Microns, and satellites
• Build query tools and reporting utilities for satellite-to-cell and cell-to-satellite traceability
• Implement automated validation checks and create dashboards to monitor production readiness
