You'll design and build backend services for Impiricus's AI-powered HCP Engagement Engine, working with senior engineers to develop reliable APIs and optimize Postgres databases. Your core impact will be supporting scalable, high-performance systems that transform how life sciences companies connect with physicians. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer eager to grow backend expertise in meaningful healthcare technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Work with Postgres database to model data and write efficient queries.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related technical field.
• Strong programming background in Python, Golang, or TypeScript.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Foundational understanding of AI and ML concepts.
• Exposure to cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Rust is a plus.
