💼 About This Role

You'll own Serve's compensation programs and serve as the primary advisor on all compensation-related decisions. Your work will build scalable compensation frameworks and ensure pay practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned to business needs. You'll partner with leadership to shape the company's compensation philosophy.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Design and maintain salary bands and job architecture
  • Own market benchmarking and provide pay positioning recommendations
  • Advise HR and leaders on offers, promotions, and complex comp scenarios
  • Conduct internal equity analyses and recommend gap-closing actions

📋 Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of compensation experience including program design and execution
  • Experience building compensation structures in a public company
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel, v-lookups, pivot tables, and data modeling
  • Experience partnering with HR, Finance, and business leaders at all levels

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience in high-growth, tech, or operations-driven environments
  • Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools (e.g., AON/Radford, Pave)
  • CCP designation
