You will challenge advanced language models on German grammar, syntax, and semantics, documenting failure modes to harden model reasoning. A typical day includes conversing with the model, verifying accuracy, and suggesting improvements to prompt engineering.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in German language, linguistics, or closely related field
• Peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or hands-on linguistic analysis projects signal fit
• Clear, metacognitive communication—'showing your work'—essential
• Must supply a secure computer and high-speed internet

Responsibilities

• Challenge AI models on German grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics
• Document failure modes in verb conjugation, case system, word order, declensions, gender, and stylistic variation
• Converse with the model on language scenarios and verify factual accuracy and logical soundness
• Capture reproducible error traces
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
