💼 About This Role

You'll own and improve the technical foundations of Perchwell's real estate listings platform, working on scalable cloud infrastructure and reliability engineering. You'll execute strategic initiatives within SRE, enabling product teams to innovate faster. This role offers the chance to shape observability practices and mentor engineering teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable processes for fundamental engineering challenges
• Manage scalable, secure AWS and GCP infrastructure
• Own CI/CD processes for fast, safe deployments
• Evolve Kubernetes infrastructure and automation via Terraform
• Champion observability and improve incident management

📋 Requirements

• BS/MS in CS or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in a dedicated SRE role
• Deep experience with AWS or GCP and interest in the other
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes deployment and orchestration
• Programming in Python, Go, or Rust for tooling

✨ Nice to Have

• Event-driven system design with Kafka, NATS, or Aeron
• Monolithic and service-oriented architecture experience
• Security frameworks for hardening environments
• Elasticsearch management and scaling
