Description

You will coordinate and oversee medication-related care for residents, including procurement, administration, documentation, and regulatory compliance. You'll manage the medication room, ensure compliance, and support the Health Wellness team to promote resident safety and quality of care.

Requirements

• Completed certified Medication Technician training program
• Minimum 6 months experience in long-term care or similar setting

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident charts and ensure documentation is current
• Communicate resident status changes to supervisor and director
• Ensure accurate medication documentation including MARs and physician orders
• Oversee medication room stock and coordinate with pharmacies
• Prepare, administer, and assist with medications per regulations
