Description

Lead and evolve Marqeta's credit platform, scaling innovative credit products that power modern fintech experiences. You'll manage multiple engineering teams, partner with Product and other functions to define strategy, and drive platform resiliency, scalability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 10+ years engineering experience with 5+ years leading managers or multiple teams
• Experience building/scaling distributed systems in cloud native (preferably AWS)
• Strong background in microservices and high availability systems
• Experience in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments
• Fintech experience strongly preferred; credit domain a plus

• Lead and develop multiple engineering teams for core credit capabilities
• Drive platform resiliency, scalability, and operational excellence
• Partner with Product to shape roadmap and delivery strategy
• Establish engineering standards for quality, reliability, testing, and documentation
• Improve execution rigor including planning and measurable outcomes
