You'll define and refine the core combat experience for a high-quality online multiplayer game. Your work will directly shape how players engage and compete, ensuring combat feels responsive and deeply engaging. You'll collaborate with cross-disciplinary leads to translate high-level vision into finely tuned systems.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Define and execute the vision for combat systems in a competitive multiplayer environment.
- Design and implement advanced player combat mechanics, including weapons and abilities.
- Collaborate with art, engineering, and discipline leads to align on gameplay systems.
- Prototype, iterate, and refine combat systems for polish, balance, and responsiveness.
๐ Requirements
- At least two shipped AAA titles as senior or principal designer focused on gameplay or combat systems.
- Strong expertise in combat design and gameplay systems within modern AAA or multiplayer games.
- Advanced proficiency with Unreal Engine (UE5 preferred) and game design tools.
- Deep understanding of core gameplay systems such as combat loops, player abilities, and weapons design.
