You'll build and test features that bring new readers to Substack and help them discover things they love, working closely with data and design teams to run A/B tests on key user flows. Your core impact will be empowering independent creators through economic autonomy and direct audience connections. You'll own your work from concept to deployment in a fast-growing startup environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Collaborate with data and design teams to create experiments for readers
• Own product features from concept through deployment
• Work with TypeScript, Node/Express, React, and Postgres
• Contribute to discovery, onboarding, notifications, and recommendations

📋 Requirements

• At least 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience building and maintaining production systems
• Ability to work autonomously and own projects end-to-end
• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams
