💼 About This Role

You'll own the full lifecycle of our edge device platform from hardware selection to deployment pipelines. You'll ensure computer vision inference workloads run reliably on constrained hardware in retail environments. This role offers high impact on a real-world product shipped to stores.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain edge compute solutions on embedded Linux platforms
• Manage AWS IoT Core and Greengrass for device fleet management
• Integrate IP cameras using RTSP and ONVIF protocols
• Optimize AI model inference for constrained hardware
• Build OTA update mechanisms for field devices

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on experience with embedded Linux systems in production
• Deep expertise with AWS IoT Core and AWS Greengrass
• Strong Python programming for production services
• Fluency with Linux systemd for service management
• Experience with Yocto Project for custom Linux distributions

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with SOC 2 environments
• Exposure to computer vision pipelines
• Experience with retail technology ecosystems
