Description

You will build the next generation of Lyft's quality assurance platform, designing and deploying AI-powered tools for test case generation, review, and execution to automate quality processes and empower developers. Your work directly increases developer productivity and happiness by eliminating bottlenecks and shifting quality left in the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a software engineer building scalable systems
• Experience or strong interest in AI/ML applied to software testing and QA
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go
• Understanding of mobile development principles (Swift/Kotlin a plus)
• Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered tools and agentic frameworks for test case generation, review, and execution
• Create self-service tooling and paved paths empowering developers to own quality with fast feedback
• Integrate automation tools into CI/CD pipeline for fast, continuous feedback
• Architect accessibility testing and monitoring solutions across design to production
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of engineering excellence and innovation
