You'll lead a team building physics-based models to architect and optimize Zipline's autonomous drone delivery system. Your work will directly shape product performance and fleet operational efficiency. This role offers the chance to drive system-level trade-offs and fleet-level optimizations at a global scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead a team of modeling engineers to develop physics-based models
• Architect and optimize aircraft and logistics system performance
• Challenge assumptions and requirements to reduce cost and complexity
• Validate models through test campaigns and independent calculations

📋 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience building mathematical models and modeling frameworks
• Deep programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or Rust
• Mastery of engineering and physics fundamentals: energy, dynamics, fluids, heat transfer
• Experience in fleet-level simulations and optimization

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with embedded algorithm design
• Comfort with empiricism and interpreting complex datasets
