Description

You will own the developer experience for Ably's self-service segment, focusing on onboarding, activation, adoption, and expansion. Your role involves using data, analytics, and AI to optimize the developer journey, improve conversion rates, and drive revenue growth. You'll work cross-functionally to identify friction points and enhance the overall product experience for developers.

Requirements

  • A technical background to understand and engage with developers
  • Experience in product-led growth, DevRel, or technical marketing in a developer-focused SaaS business
  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience using product usage data
  • Experience using AI to accelerate research, experimentation, and analysis
  • Empathy for developers and understanding of great developer experience
  • Proactive, self-directed approach with strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Use AI to produce quality content and write reusable prompts for documentation
  • Understand developer workflows to identify friction and suggest improvements
  • Use data to identify at-risk accounts, product-qualified leads, and expansion opportunities
  • Design and run automated engagement programs like onboarding sequences and email campaigns
  • Drive activation, adoption, and retention by optimizing conversion funnels and running experiments
  • Improve the self-service experience by addressing friction points in product, docs, and onboarding
  • Feed insights back to the business to influence roadmap and go-to-market strategy
  • Support product-led sales by designing automated journeys and handing qualified leads to sales
