Description

You will build and maintain core backend services for Lookout's cybersecurity platform, working with microservices in Golang, Scala, Java, and Ruby on AWS. You'll own services end-to-end, including on-call duties, and contribute to evolving the architecture at scale.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science with 3-5 years experience
• Professional programming in Golang, Python, Scala, Java, or Ruby+Rails
• Experience with event streaming (Kafka preferred)
• Experience with secure, scalable API services
• Experience with transactional databases (Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB)

Responsibilities

• Implement large scale, low latency microservices
• Own services end-to-end, including on-call duties
• Improve automated testing (unit, integration, functional)
• Troubleshoot and root cause platform issues
• Build services in Golang, Scala, Java, Ruby on AWS
