💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement a production-grade Linux distribution using Yocto/OpenEmbedded for wheeled-legged delivery robots. You'll enable critical robotics sensors and manage Over-the-Air (OTA) updates for safe fleet-wide deployments. Collaborate with hardware engineers on board bring-up and system optimization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement production-grade Linux distribution using Yocto/OpenEmbedded.
• Develop custom Yocto layers and configure Linux kernels for hardware peripherals.
• Enable hardware for robotics sensors including GMSL cameras, GPS, IMUs, LiDAR.
• Implement and manage Over-the-Air (OTA) update solutions for fleet deployments.
• Profile and optimize system for boot time, memory footprint, and interrupt latency.

📋 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics.
• Minimum 2 years of industry or research experience with embedded Linux.
• Extensive experience building custom Linux distributions using Yocto.
• Deep understanding of Linux kernel, bootloaders, and driver model.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson platform and meta-tegra layer.
• Familiarity with OTA tools like Mender or RAUC.
• Knowledge of Secure Boot, disk encryption, and TPM integration.
