You'll own the design, development, and delivery of flight-critical spacecraft mechanisms from concept through on-orbit operation. You'll drive architecture, analysis, and cross-functional integration for actuators, deployables, and precision moving assemblies. 🎯 What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end design of spacecraft mechanisms from concept through flight
- Drive trade studies and make vs. buy decisions with cross-functional teams
- Perform first-principles analysis and FEA to size components
- Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and iterate designs
- Own hardware through build, integration, and test in hands-on environments
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 4+ years experience designing and delivering mechanical systems or mechanisms
- 1+ years leading technical teams or projects
- Proficiency with CAD (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks) and FEA tools (ANSYS, Nastran)

- Familiarity with environmental testing (vibe, thermal, vacuum)
- Hands-on machining, assembly, or hardware bring-up experience
