Description

You will own the strategy and roadmap for MongoDB's Python driver, integrations (Django, Flask, FastAPI), and tooling, ensuring Python developers have a seamless, idiomatic experience. You'll collaborate with engineering, DevRel, and community teams, engage with the Python ecosystem, and make data-driven product decisions to drive adoption.

Requirements

• 3-5 years product management experience shipping developer-facing tools, integrations, or APIs
• 3-5 years commercial Python development (Django, FastAPI, Flask)
• Experience with ML/AI frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Langchain, etc.)
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Strong analytical skills and ability to write comprehensive business cases

Responsibilities

• Define strategic vision, product strategy, and roadmap for Python developer experience
• Collaborate with engineering, documentation, DevRel, and community teams
• Engage directly with community forums, conferences, and open-source contributors
• Analyze data to drive product decisions and identify strategic opportunities
• Build and document an application using MongoDB and a Python framework during onboarding
