Description

In this role, you will act as a technical expert in designing, modifying, and implementing market rules for NYISO's wholesale electricity markets. You will analyze market data to identify flaws and opportunities, collaborate with stakeholders to develop new designs, and lead implementation efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Knowledge of Power Systems Engineering and/or Economics preferred.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and vendor relationships.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand NYISO's regulatory structure and market evolution processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze NYISO markets to identify design flaws and improvement opportunities.
• Manage and synthesize expert feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead development of market design concept reports and campaign strategies.
• Write and review draft tariff modifications and memos to the Board of Directors.
• Present proposals to stakeholders, senior management, and industry forums.
