Description
You will research and characterize Windows kernel vulnerabilities, develop and maintain CNO/CNE tools, perform reverse engineering of binaries, and integrate capabilities into mission frameworks. This role supports a government contract on-site in Arlington, VA.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- 7–10+ years of software development experience focused on low-level or systems programming on Windows.
- Demonstrated hands-on Windows kernel vulnerability research experience.
- Strong proficiency in C, C++, Python, and x86/x64 Assembly.
- Deep understanding of Windows internals, reverse engineering tools, and networking protocols.
Responsibilities
- Research and characterize Windows kernel vulnerabilities (privilege escalation, sandbox escapes, persistence mechanisms).
- Design, develop, and maintain CNO/CNE tools for Windows platforms (kernel and user mode).
- Perform reverse engineering of Windows binaries and system components using IDA Pro, Ghidra, WinDbg.
- Develop kernel-mode and user-mode code in C/C++ and Assembly for implants, loaders, and exploit chains.
- Create and test exploitation techniques bypassing modern protections (ASLR, DEP, CFG, kernel mitigations).
