Description

You will own end-to-end tax workflows for federal, state, and local agencies, resolving notices, handling filings, and communicating with partners. This role is critical to ensuring seamless tax operations for our payroll platform.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in payroll tax, tax operations, or compliance
• Experience with federal (IRS/SSA), state, and local agencies
• Comfortable on the phone with tax agencies and in written communication
• Organized and methodical with ability to manage multiple open issues
• Curious about edge cases and unfamiliar notice types

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end tax workflows for federal, state, and local agencies
• Resolve tax notices, correspondence, and corrections
• Serve as direct point of contact with tax agencies
• Communicate with partners about tax account status and issues
• Manage a queue of tax issues, balancing urgency and complexity
