Description

As an Electrical Engineer at CannonDesign, you will design electrical systems for building construction projects across healthcare, education, and commercial sectors. You'll produce construction drawings, coordinate with architectural teams, and ensure code compliance while having opportunities to visit job sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology
• Minimum 4 years of related experience
• Proficiency in Revit for engineering design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Design lighting, power, communications, and fire alarm systems for building construction
• Prepare construction drawings and specifications for electrical engineering systems
• Analyze engineering documents and layout system components
• Participate in value engineering sessions and code compliance reviews
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs and change orders
